We’ll be opening around noon today. I have to run to Brecksville and pick up my man; today is his last day of work (retirement baby) and he needs to turn in his company car. I’m his personal “Uber” this morning.
We’re changing some things up at the shop . . . . most notably the days we’re open. A few of the shops on Tusc are now open Monday instead of Wednesday and we’re going to give that a go in hopes it will bring more customers downtown. Being a ‘best kept secret’ is fun, but we need to be less of a secret and more of a destination. We may be working to spruce things up at the shop on days we’re closed; if the lights are on. . . .you’re more than welcome to come in, just knock hard or phone 330.620.5914. You’re always welcome! New days/hours effective immediately are: Monday, Thursday & Friday 11-5, Saturday 11-3. (Once the wine bar and brewery open down the block we’re planning to be open an evening as well.)
This coming Friday is our monthly event downtown; there will be entertainment, refreshments, discounts and more. It’s always a good time, plus it gets you out of the house and into the fresh air. Stop by the shop for refresments and a fun little discount game.
I went to the foot surgeon today and it seems the tendon she repaired has not stayed together. I have to have the surgery repeated tomorrow morning so she can reattach it again and also insert a pin this time for extra measure to hold it all together. If I don’t have it repaired again, I’ll never be able to wear flip flops, my big toe will be a dangling participle. So please, wish me luck, say a prayer, or think positive thoughts for me, I’m about to have a breakdown. Oh and by the way, the REAL reason for this post is to tell you the shop will be closed a bit longer…possibly 2 to 3 weeks, but I’ll for certain keep you posted. I know it doesn’t make any of our customers happy, it doesn’t make me happy either but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. By the way, I ask the surgeon if I could get a BOGO price and she laughed. I’ll take that as a “no”.
